State Department spokesman Crowley was fired for telling the truth about the detention conditions of Bradley Manning. TYT presents a video of Reagan defending the rights of unions to bargain collectively. Rep. Joe Barton defends government oil subsidies by saying the companies would go out of business without them, which directly contradicts supposedly-Republican free market principles. Newsweek article points out that 2,405 people have been shot and killed in the US since the Giffords shooting in Tuscon.

On today's show Cenk Uygur breaks two pieces of news: Obama is actually a Republican, and a senior diplomat at the UN indicated to Cenk that the Obama Administration asked or told Palestinian diplomats to wait until after the 2012 US election before the US would support for a peace talks which would include a Palestinian state.The Wisconsin State Senate passed the anti-union portion of Scott Walker's bill, proving that the main goal was to break the power of the public employees union rather than fix the budget deficit problem. Cenk explains how the Republicans would absolutely dominate politics if the capacity of organized labor to raise and donate money were destroyed.

The relative positions of Nixon, Obama, conservative Republican Joe Barton and several extreme Republicans demonstrate how far to the right the political spectrum has shifted in the past 40 years.
Another example of liberal media bias covering stories in which innocent people are put in jail, while disregarding the victims of crime and ignoring the guilty people who get convicted (insert sarcasm here).
NPR Under Attack By Right Wing

A report indicates that banking has been the worst performing sector for investors in the past several years, but the way bank executives have prospered shows a disconnect in our current economic and capitalist system. Scott Walker is willing to negotiate all of a sudden. Political pressure from the massive Wisconsin protest may turn out to be a resounding success. Meanwhile, three Republican State Senators in Wisconsin have accepted federal largesse in the form of farm subsidies. Cenk offers a deal to them to end the impasse. Matt Damon clarifies that his criticism of Obama is that the President hasn't been progressive enough, not that he's too liberal.
