MSNBC/The Young Turks host Cenk Uygur on how Glenn Beck's website The Blaze exposed major flaws in the plot to undermine NPR by the infamous James O'Keefe group Project Veritas.
On Monday's show, Cenk explains how the hit piece video against NPR was edited to make NPR look bad. State Department spokesman Crowley was fired for telling the truth about the detention conditions of Bradley Manning. TYT presents a video of Reagan defending the rights of unions to bargain collectively. Rep. Joe Barton defends government oil subsidies by saying the companies would go out of business without them, which directly contradicts supposedly-Republican free market principles. Newsweek article points out that 2,405 people have been shot and killed in the US since the Giffords shooting in Tuscon.
MSNBC host Cenk Uygur speaks with former Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell and Newsweek's Jonathan Alter about Republican Governors attempting to seriously cut funding for education in their states despite the fact that only 3% of Americans support it according to a recent poll. Is it because they want cheap labor provided by an uneducated workforce?
Cenk Uygur breaks down Rep. Peter King (R-NY) slamming the media for what he says was "mindless hysteria" with regard to criticism of his 'Muslim Radicalization' hearings. Cenk also shows a clip where King says there are too many Muslims and Mosques in America.
Cenk Uygur speaks with Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) and Rev. Jesse Jackson (who reports from Wisconsin) about how the Democrats can fight back against the union busting and general attack on the middle class by Republicans. Cenk compares the dirty tactics employed by Governor Scott Walker in Wisconsin to Mike Tyson infamously biting Evander Holyfield's ear.
The Wisconsin State Senate passed the anti-union portion of Scott Walker's bill, proving that the main goal was to break the power of the public employees union rather than fix the budget deficit problem. Cenk explains how the Republicans would absolutely dominate politics if the capacity of organized labor to raise and donate money were destroyed.

The relative positions of Nixon, Obama, conservative Republican Joe Barton and several extreme Republicans demonstrate how far to the right the political spectrum has shifted in the past 40 years.
Another example of liberal media bias covering stories in which innocent people are put in jail, while disregarding the victims of crime and ignoring the guilty people who get convicted (insert sarcasm here).
Cenk Uygur breaks down the right wing effort to smear and defund NPR that started with conservative pranksters (led by the infamous James O'Keefe of Acorn fame) going undercover pretending to represent the Muslim Brotherhood offering money. NPR turned down the money but NPR chief fundraiser Ron Schiller made negative remarks about the tea party and racism as well some comments regarding an Israel bias.
